Hello! As long as you choose the extender appropriate for the 3D scanner whether it uses USB 2.0 or USB 3.0, it could work. However some USB devices are recommended to not be used with hubs, extenders, KVM's etc. so I may also suggest to confirm with the manufacturer of the 3D scanner as to whether they expect any issues when using USB extenders with their product.

There are two modes, quick erase and secure erase, but it is only possible to erase one drive at a time with this product. Hello @9Fahim. Yes, it is a simple process to duplicate from a full SSD hard drive to an empty SSD. Most of our duplicators, like the one in this short video, will perform a sector-by-sector copy of the full contents of a drive to an equal or larger capacity drive.

So if the SSD’s are identical it will work 100% of the time without fail ?

Generally speaking, yes. I will mention that drives CAN have some tolerance in terms of sector count, so even if they are "identical" make and model and advertised size, if for any reason the drive being used as the target drive has a smaller sector count than the source, the duplication can fail.

Then it’s random success rate then. Your counting on the exact same SSD was manufactured with identical sector counts. Even off by a fraction , it renders that fresh hardrive as useless if trying to use this system within a business environment where you are wanting to clone and sell

This will depend on what specific resolution and refresh rate you would be looking to achieve as well as what your host laptop's HDMI port supports. As for our HD2DP adapter, for example if you were looking to use a 4K resolution, the max refresh rate it would support would be 30Hz. Lowering the resolution would allow for a higher refresh rate.

Yes, I would expect that to work with a 2023 24 inch iMac. Please remember you would need to install the driver software for the dock or adapter for this to work.

Unfortunately we do not have any MST hubs that have both DisplayPort and HDMI outputs on them. As well, I would expect you to see the same issue even when using an MST product like this since it would still present to the operating system as each their own independently connected devices.

Hello! 129N-USBC-KVM-DOCK does require the DisplayLink driver software to be installed for connected monitors to work through the KVM dock. There is also our optional Startech.com Link software that is needed it you want to use hot keys or scrolling the mouse to the edge of the screen to switch between computers rather than using the switch button on the dock.

The Startech Link software that allows for keyboard shortcuts or scrolling your mouse to the edge of the displays to switch is optional. The other software, the DisplayLink drivers, is not optional and is required for displays connected to the dock to work.

Hi there! Some customers had indicated to us that our TB31PCIEX16 and 2TBT3-PCIE-ENCLOSURE models had worked for their specific UAD Octo / UAD-2 Duo cards. While our enclosures have not been specifically tested with the hardware mentioned, the enclosures offers universal compatibility and are expected to work with any PCIe card other than a GPU. If it is a matter of space, both of our above models support single-width cards up to 8in (20.3cm) long.

@@startech so the TB31PCIEX16 works perfect with a Decklink 4K extreme 12G which is a realy bigger one. The only problem is that the Decklink wants 6pin power if you use it alot. It works without but for more use it needs extra power. Going to use a custom little power supply.

@@startech Sure! Just one question, maybe you have better insight into this information. When plugging in the Decklink card, I noticed an unused port between the fan pin and the front power LED pin. Could this possibly be used, with the right cable, to power such a Decklink card? Its a 4pin male Molex (L4) I wanna try to use a molex female to female adapter and plug in a molex male to 6pin pcie to power the Decklink, for information if it will work would be great. I assume that it will not damage anything since molex is used for power transmission. Or maybe if you are not sure, an email to tech support would be great

Our M.2 NVMe drive duplicator can do up to 90GB/min data transfer between drives connected in stand-alone mode.
